Day 5- If diamonds last forever, how long will I last

ATTENTION!!!! I HAVE FOUND REDSTONE AND DIAMOND!

What  a historical landmark day! What an achievement! Where do I go from here!? Where am I!?.... Okay so it was awesome coming across this big ol' cave system but unfortunately I got lost. I placed to many torches, didn't mark my way and basically fell down pits that had lava... because where ever there's lava there is Diamond and red stone.

I have at least 72 blocks of redstone, 5 blocks of diamond, and no way out, so I did what any normal person would do in this situation, I ran around in circles until I got the bright Idea to build my way back up... let me tell ya, that sure was daunting task, not actually building my way up, but finding my way back home, I came above the ground, disoriented kinda like waking up after being knocked out. But I was smart I continued to build my cobble stone tower and luckily I found my Wall with out it being there I don't know what I would have done. All though this trip hasn't satisfied the qualifications of 49er, in the end of the operation I want 124 diamond blocks and three hundred something red stone.

After words I built another cobblestone tower near that mine shaft and let me tell you something, I went on some wild journey. Look at where I ended up!

Sub-Operation 49er is a success! 

                                      

Day 4- the more the merrier

Operation 49er has received a boost today...

Remember that Dud Monster spawner.

Well I've been using that place for cobble stone to build my wall.

Which isn't finished by the way... Any ways I dug really deep in where that monster spawner was, and I came across this Huge cave system with mass amounts of Iron I've collected 51 so far and there's even more where that came from not to mention the coal.

                                  

I've found Iron and Coal before, but never in mass quantities as I've seen today, My hope is that eventually all find Redstone, and after that Diamonds. And after that I'll finish my wall, then I'll be off to make another town to continue searching this open world of mine.
                                          

This is a small step, in my big adventure!

Mah Wall is walling

Look at the mighty and majestic wall marvel at its majesty, look at how short that tower is! I mean It is spost to be a watch tower I can't see much more than I can on ground level sooo... thats gonna change, And I think people will really like the design I have planned for it.

Here's that cave opening I was talking about, it swoops right under the left wing of my wall,  It has to go.

Day 3- You've been busy...

So I know I haven't been updating daily... But it's only because I've been doing pretty much the same stuff from before, When there's a major change I mean I'll explode posts and pics about it... but whatever, Today I finish phase one of town project Eden, The farm is built now all I need to do is gather up enough Cobble stone to finish my wall.

My wall is coming along nicely the watch tower though I feel needs a second floor it looks real short -_- But the wall its self is anti- mob, Its about 2 squares high with steps on top so 2.5 squares high and the outer wall will be lined with Cactus's and torches so no Monsters are coming in, Their is a small cave that tunnels under my wall where a monster can sneak in, but since I'm paranoid thats gonna be patched up and have a door placed on by the next time I see ya.

After this project is over I shall begin sub-operation 49er, I'll be going on a Diamond and Redstone hunt in my mine system, I've gotten tons of Steel so far since the beginning to now so, Red stone and Diamond are close I can feel it... Along with that after thats done I am planning on leaving eden and go searching for a new place to live, Operation Exodus will then go into effect where nothing but me my armor, and some bread will be going with me, After that it's time to resettle.

How far will I go? Well I was think a three day (in game hike, Straight out of Eden) If all things go to plan, all have the new town called Psalm 1 up and running after that who knows?

This is just the beginning of some thing much greater!

Day 2- late entry

Okay! So I missed yesterday, but the thing is that I already did all the work I needed to do for that day so this is late but well deserved post.

So basically I made cosmetic changes to my houses, too pretty up the neighborhood.

I planted a bunch of trees since I basically cleared a portion the other day from the fire incident and also building the new house.

OH! I also found a rich mineral deposit where I found a Dungeon, I saw the monster spawner but no monsters where spawning so I quickly torched the place up and took what I needed from the treasure chest.

And I have started the makings of a wall, and placed a few torches where I plan on making a farm.

There will be another update soon, I promise!

What a day, It has been

Guh, let me start off by saying that a lot of things went wrong today, but that's not entirely why I'm so gloomy.

First off when I started playing it was night time so I couldn't really get any work done... Well I could but there were a few monsters who would beg to differ.

That wasn't too fun to deal with, but as night set and the day begin I walked to my door ready to greet the morning, ready to greet the morning and the creeper that was standing right in front of my door. I would have taken a picture of the creeper in front of my door if it wasn't in front of my door, any ways the creeper blew up, didn't do to much damage, it blew up my door, but luckily not the windows around it.

I ventured out, made a few touch ups to my mine shafts, by giving them doors, and lit up the mines so no unexpected guests will show up, cleared out some gravel and with that I found some flint and a piece of steel to craft a flint and steel... What was to follow would be a case of pyro-mania!

I set anything and everything on fire, later in the day I got the idea to make a fire place just in case I wanted to destroy stuff, Only later would I find out that I'd be destroying my house in the process. Let me just Say I  did take necessary precautionary measures to make sure that wouldn't happen I made cobble stone square it just wasn't big enough so, My house got lit up though thankfully I was able to save all my Iron armor and tools, Wish I could say that wasn't all that I saved.

After spending the night in the mines, I went to work to not only rebuild my house but also to build a bigger one, to compensate a Fire place... let's just say that ten million trees and hours of time later, I ended up with this.

My humble home got a neighbor and man am I exhausted, This was dangerous I almost lost everything I had achieved, but this incident gave my goal new life, If I can build from disaster then maybe their is hope for me just yet and on the face of this world my foot print just got a little bigger.

Even in the ashes, lay the seeds for growth.
